C. Elliott, Inc. - application for
a conditional use permit to allow
the establishment of a sales office
in a model home complex located at
560-592 Tawny Drive, Pleasanton;
zoning for the property is R-1-6500
(Single Family) District.
Secretary Harris had nothing to add
to the staff report, except that Mr.
Harry Elliott, III, was going to
address the Commission to request
that the requirement to provide a
parking lot for visitors to the
model complex, be deleted.
'iThe Public Hearing was opened.
~,Mr. Harry Elliott, III, spoke, indi-
cating no objections to the staff
conditions. However, with the
sudden availability of sewer con-
nections, his company did not have
the usual amount of time to prepare
submittals . Consequently, he sub-
mitted the plans designed for the
original application made several
.months back. With this application,
he is asking that they not be re-
quired to maintain a parking lot
for prospective home buyers because
there is plenty of on-street parking,
and from past experience, they have
learned that people generally park
in the street anyway.
Upon inquiry from Chairman Wood, Mr.
Elliott clarified that his company
would maintain the original parking
lot area.
There being no further comments, the
Public Hearing was closed.
Commissioner Doherty offered a reso-
lution approving this application
Resolutio
Seconded:
Ayes:
Noes:
Absent:
Abstain:
X
x
-2-
