No. 1359, Accepted Secretary Harris described the back- ground of this application and his reasons for denying it. The applicant was not present. 'Commissioner Carrigan felt that if it is going to be mail order and .packaging will occur in the home, it would be impossible for the City to ,control the. business or enforce the ',requirements for granting of a home 'occupation. Commissioner Shepherd termed this a small scale manufactur- ing business, and Commissioner Butler felt that the staff made the right decision. A resolution recommending denial of this appeal was entered and unani- mously adopted.
