"°'°- CITY of PLEASANTON
Planning Commission
MINUTES ~OF REGULAR MEETING.
Date September 10, 1975
Time ; 8:25 P.M.
PICCe; Pleasanton Justice Court
Commissioner Butler felt that the
question of the ultimate population
in our planning area could be and
in fact was separated from the per-
iod of growth in which it will take
place. He felt that this is a pro-
ject which has a lot of merit and
staff should consider.it.
The Commissioners then brought up
the subject of the minutes of the
special meeting of August 4, 1975,
pertaining to the request of Dr.
Howard Long for permission to
process a subdivision using a pri-
vate street and create lots of other
than standard design. The proceed-
ings were extremely lengthy and a
court reporter was present to re-
cord the entire hearing.
During the proceedings, however,
certain allegations were made by
applicant's engineers regarding
trade-offs of density for the privat
road. These statements were denied
by the City's engineering staff.
However, the minutes, on advice of
the City Attorney, did not reflect
any of these statements. The Com-
mission felt that this was a serious
matter, and those statements should
have been included in the minutes
of August 4, 1975.
ADJOURNMENT
City Attorney Scheidig stated that
the minutes of that meeting would
be revised to include those allega-
tions.
The regular meeting of September 10,
1975, was, jo ed at 8:30 P.M.
Robert J. H r , Secretary
- 8-
