CITY of PLEASANTON
Planning Commission
MINUTES ~OF REGULAR MEETING.
DGtB : November 12, 1975
Time : s:os P. M.
PIaCe: Pleasanton Justice Court
As noted in the staff report, Condition ~~25
of the conditional use permit granted to
Citizens Savings and Loan required that
preliminary site development plans be sub-
mitted fora permanent building on the
property within one year of approval. This
one-year time period has passed but because
of economic factors, Citizens has requested
a time extension. The staff is recommending
that they be granted this extension to
coincide with the expiration date of the
conditional use permit on April 10, 1976.
Chairman Wood felt that the Commission shoul
strengthen its position and make it clear to
Citizens Savings that in April, 1976, they
expect to see some final plans. He felt
this was important in light of the south
end of town starting to develop so nicely.
A motion allowing an extension until April 1
1976, for Citizens Savings and Loan to sub-
mit final development plans, was entered and
adopted.
Review of zoning for land involved in
Annexation No. 66.
Secretary Harris explained that the major
reason this matter was being brought before
the Commission was because the property
owners had asked that the land be taken out
of the Study District and rezoned to Agri-
cultura 1.
However, he had talked to Mr. Bruno Buti
that day who advised him that the owners
would like to ask for a continuance so that
more time oo uld be spent investigating just
what would be the result of the action being
proposed. Staff agreed to go along with
the property owners' request.
Motion:
Seconded:
Ayes:
Noes:
Absent:
Abstain:
X
-4-
