qy`A$""~°y CITE' of PLEASA TON <br />N <br />~~ .~,. <br />`'~~~° <br />.o <br />Planning Commission <br />MINUTES ~QF REGULAR MEETING. <br /> DGtB ; December 10, 1975 <br /> Time: 8:0o P.M. <br /> PIOCe: Pleasanton Justice Court <br />Commissioner Garrigan asked Secretary <br />Harris if the applicant had inferred <br />he did not intend to build offices on <br />this property, and Mr. Harris replied <br />yes. <br />The Public Hearing was opened. <br />Mr. Jack Bras, local architect, spoke <br />for this case. He indicated that for <br />the past month, they have been studyi <br />the uses for this parcel. Eventually <br />if all approvals are received, they <br />intend to develop it as C-C or C-N us <br />as Mr. Myers has commercial tenants <br />waiting. They would prefer a straigh <br />,rezoning, rather than P.U.D., which <br />is a lengthier process. <br />Commissioner Shepherd wished to know <br />whether the applicant has definite <br />plans for the property. Mr. Bras re- <br />plied that all they have done so far <br />is an economic analysis of the proper <br />Commissioner Butler assumed that the <br />economic study has taken into account <br />that there are other properties which <br />are going to develop as commercial <br />property. He hoped the applicant <br />does not feel this is the only pro- <br />perty in town ready for development <br />along commercial lines. Mr. Bras <br />stated the applicant is well aware <br />of this. <br />The Public Hearing was closed. <br />A resolution was then offered by Com- <br />missioner Garrigan, seconded by Com- <br />missioner Shepherd and adopted unani- <br />mously, recommending a land use desig <br />nation change from Medium Density Re- <br />sidential to Retail Business and Offi <br />for the property under consideration. <br />-5- J <br />_.._..r...__.._ . .._ .__....... .....__ _ __..._.. . _ <br />
