CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 90-188 <br /> <br />RESOI/3TION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 76-79 <br />(ESTABLISHING TRAFFIC REGULATIONS FOR CITY <br />STREETS) BY AMENDING SECTION 3 TO ESTABLISH A <br />THREE-WAY STOP AT ROSE AVENUE AND FAIR STREET <br />AND TO ESTABLISH A THREE-WAY STOP AT ARTHUR <br />DRIVE AND VIRGIL CIRCLE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />on April 12, 1976, the City Council adopted Resolution <br />No. 76-79 (A Resolution Establishing Traffic Regulations <br />for City Streets); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the city Council has from time to time amended Resolution <br />No. 76-79; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at its meeting of October 16, 1990, the City Council <br />recieved and discussed reports from the Director of <br />Public Works and Utilities (SR 90:402 and SR 90:409) <br />related to establishing two separate three-way stop <br />intersections; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />it was determined to be necessary to amend Resolution No. <br />76-79 to add subsections 3a-6, 3r-9, and 3v-8 as set <br />forth below; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: <br /> <br /> Resolution No. 76-79 (A Resolution Establishing <br />Traffic Regulations for City Streets) is hereby amended <br />by adding the following subsections to Section 3 (Stop <br />Intersections): <br /> <br />3a-6 Arthur Drive, at its easterly intersection with <br /> Virgil Circle; stopping traffic on Arthur Drive in <br /> both directions. <br /> <br />3r-9 Rose Avenue, at Fair Street; stopping traffic on <br /> Rose Avenue in both directions. <br /> <br />3v-8 Virgil Circle, at its easterly intersection with <br /> Arthur Drive; stopping traffic on Virgil Circle. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
