Chairperson Getty said the matter should be continued to allow staff <br />to respond to some of the things brought up at tonight's meeting. <br />Commissioner Lindsey said he believes the proposed ordinance should <br />address only the west side of Foothill Road. <br />Commissioner Doherty said he too believes staff should have time <br />to respond to comments made. <br />Commissioner Wilson said there are a lot of things he doesn't understand <br />about it but does feel a restrictive ordinance is needed on the ridge- <br />land. He said he would like to see a layout of how many units could <br />be allowed if the ordinance was applied west of Foothill only. He <br />said he has no idea if it would be 400 or 500. He asked how many <br />units Dunkley's project would allow under the ordinance. Mr. Dunkley <br />said he would determine that figure and advise the Commission. <br />Commissioner Jamieson concurred with the previous statements of the <br />other Commissioners, but stated the issue is somewhat confusing. He <br />asked that the speakers meet with staff concerning it. Mr. Harris <br />stated that all of the speakers have already met with staff con- <br />cerning the proposed ordinance. <br />Chairperson Getty stated she would suggest the the 19th of May be <br />reserved for Hacienda Business Park public hearings. Commissioner <br />Doherty stated he would be out of town 5/16-5/27/82. After dis- <br />cussion amongst the Commissioners case RZ-82-5 was continued to <br />5/26/82. <br />MOTION: Commissioner Getty <br />SECOND: Commissioner Wilson <br />AYES: Commissioners Doherty, Jamieson, Lindsey, Wilson <br />and Chairperson Getty <br />GP-82-5, Castlewood Properties, Inc. <br />Application of Castlewood Properties, Inc., Kamp, Kral and Crouch <br />for an amendment to the General Plan to change approximately sixteen <br />acres of land at the northeast corner of Oakland and Mohr Avenues <br />from the Medium Density Residential land use designation to the <br />High Density Residential designation. Planning Commission may recom- <br />mend any action regarding this matter considered in the public <br />interest. A negative declaration of environmental impacts will <br />also be considered. <br />Mr. Harris presented the staff report and recommendation of approval. <br />The public hearing was opened. <br />Art Dunkley, 205-F Main Street, Pleasanton, spoke representing the <br />property owners.
