The applicant and
staff do not agree as to the total number of lots that were approved
by the City Council under the PUD; therefore, this will have to go
back to the Council for an interpretation or decision on what was
approved. Mr. Harris further stated that the staff report indicates
that this matter should be continued until the August 11, 1982 meeting,
but as it won't go to Council until August 10, 1982, he stated he felt
it should be continued until the meeting of September 8, 1982.
MATTERS INITIATED BY THE COMMISSION MEMBERS
Commissioner Getty asked Mr. Harris if we are looking into the parking
requirements for Savings and Loan Institutions now that so many of them
are becoming full service and their requirements have always been
lower than banking facilities. Mr. Harris stated that the parking
requirements for banks and savings and loans are the same. At one
time staff considered making a change for savings and loans, but as
they are now changing their functions to include the same services
as banks, no changes will be made. Commissioner Getty stated she did
not realize they were now the same.
