<br />MINUTES <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />Pleasanton, California <br />City Council Chambers <br />200 Bernal Avenue <br />Wednesday, October 13, 1982 <br />7:30 P.M. <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />The meeting was called to order by Vice Chairperson Bill Jamieson at <br />7:30 p.m. <br />The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was recited. <br />ROLL CALL <br />Commissioners Present: Gregg Doherty, Joyce Getty, DeWitt Wilson and <br />Vice Chairperson Bill Jamieson <br />Commissioner Absent: Larry Lindsey <br />Staff Members Present: Robert J. Harris, Director of Planning and <br />Community Development; Robert L. Warnick, Director <br />of Public Works and Utilities; Brian W. Swift, <br />Assistant City Attorney; Richard Glenn, Assistant <br />Planner; Tom Passanisi, Planning Analyst and <br />Shirley McDougall, Recording Secretary <br />Council Member Present: Karin Mohr <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />The Board of Adjustment convened and approved the Minutes submitted <br />for June 24 and August 11, 1982. The Planning Commission approved their <br />Minutes of September 21, 1982. <br />MEETING OPEN FOR ANY MEMBER OF THE AUDIENCE TO ADDRESS THE PLANNING <br />C;OMMIBB ION <br />No one ~c~ressed the Commission. <br />REVISIONS AND OMISSIONS TO THE AGENDA <br />Mr. Harris reported that representatives from the Diocese of Oakland have <br />again requested a continuance of Item 7a because of a death of a Church <br />member. <br />Commissioner Getty stated she felt the Church had been given ample oppor- <br />tunity to respond to this issue and didn't think it should be continued <br />anymore. Commissioner Doherty indicated that the matter has been <br />continued three times and supported Commissioner Getty's position. <br />Commissioner Wilson indicated he felt the right decision would be to <br />continue the matter as requested. <br />
