4~~~BA"~~y CITY of PL~A~ANTUN
~~,
`~ ~~° Planning Commission
AMtD ~
MINUTES ~OF REGULAR MEETING.
DGte ; March 10, 1976
Time : 8: oo P.M.
Place; Pleasanton Justice Court
and Secretary Harris suggested that
both items be heard together. How-
ever, the Commissioners felt that
persons planning to speak on the
second case may not be aware of the
earlier hearing time and miss the
item. Therefore, the items were
left separate.
The Chairman asked Mr. Harris if
adequate notification had been given
to residents living in the area.
Mr. Harris replied that Mr. Rich
St. John (spokesman for the town-
house development) has been in al-
most constant communication with
him, and the leaders of the single
family homeowners group have also
been in touch with staff.
Mr. Dick Braden, engineer with
MacKay & Somps, spoke for this
application. He praised staff for
an excellent job done on the staff
report. He indicated that the
developer has had meetings with the
two homeowners groups, but no satis-
factory conclusion has been reached.
Commissioner Carrigan stated that the
last time this application was heard,
several issues concerning the home-
owners were raised, one of which was
whether there would possibly be con-
solidation of the two associations.
Mr. Braden replied it had been de-
finitely settled that the two groups
would not be combined. Regarding
another issue of the fence around
the RV yard final agreement on this
has not been reached. Additionally,
there is landscaping still to be
completed on the opposite side of
the creek, which will be resolved
more appropriately at the tentative
map stage.
-2-
