Planning o <br />MINUTES ~OF REGULAR MEETING. <br />DOtB : May 12, 1976 <br />Time : 8:35 P.M. <br />PIOCe; Pleasanton Justice Court <br />ROLL CALL <br />APPROVAL OF <br />MINUTES <br />REVISIONS AND <br />OMISSIONS TO THE <br />AGENDA <br />GENERAL PLAN <br />AMENDMENT. <br />GP-76-2, Approved, <br />Res. 1411 <br />Commissioners Present: Butler, <br />Doherty, Carrigan, Shepherd and <br />Chairman Wood. <br />Commissioners Absent: None. <br />The minutes of the regular meeting <br />of April 14 and the special meeting <br />of April 23, 1976 were approved as <br />submitted. <br />Item 6b continued pending City <br />Council action on the appeal against <br />'Notice of Intent to File a Negative <br />'Declaration for Vernon Dickman's gas <br />,station application. <br />Planning Commission - application for <br />a general plan amendment to add two <br />streets to the adopted circulation <br />system in the area bounded by Highway <br />I~580 ~ Iiopyard Road, Tassaj ara Road <br />and the extension of West Las Positas <br />Boulevard between Hopyard Road and <br />Santa Rita Road. <br />Councilman Brandes, liaison member to <br />the Planning Commission indicated tha <br />at the time the appeal filed against <br />the Notice of Intent to File a <br />Negative Declaration for GP-76-2 was <br />heard by Council, while they voted to <br />uphold staff's position, they also <br />wished to relay to the Commission the <br />recommendations of the ad hoc com- <br />mittee, specifically their concern <br />regarding the eastern terminus of the <br />frontage road running parallel to <br />I-580. <br />,Secretary Harris provided background <br />'of this case. He described the <br />(meetings which were held between <br />staff and members of the ad hoc com- <br />mittee.
