CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 90-185 RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO ADOPT PROPOSED REVISIONS TO THE HOUSING ELRMENT OF THE GENERAL PLAN WHEREAS, California State law requires all cities to update their Housing Elements during 1990; and WHEREAS, the California Department of Housing and Community Development has reviewed the Housing Element, and with the proposed revisions, is expected to determine that the revised Housing Element is in compliance with State law; and WHEREAS, Council has recommendations Element; and received the Planning. Commission's for approval of the proposed Housing WHEREAS, Council has also received the report and recommendations of the Mayor's Task Force on Affordable Housing and of staff; and WHEREAS, on October 2, 1990, Council adopted a negative declaration for the revised Housing Element; and WHEREAS, on October 2, 1990, Council held a duly noticed public hearing on the revised Housing Element; and WHEREAS, the Council has considered all public testimony, relevant exhibits and the recommendations of staff, the Task Force and the Planning Commission; and WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the proposed Housing Element revisions are internally consistent with the goals and policies of the General Plan. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: The City Council hereby expresses its intention to adopt a revised Housing Element, as set forth in the Draft Housing Element dated April 1990, including the Supplement thereto, as revised in the Planning Department Staff Report dated October 2, 1990, and as further revised by the Council at its meeting of October 2, 1990. Section 2: The planning staff is directed to make the revisions required by the City Council and return the matter to the Council on October 16, 1990 for action.
