CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 90-184 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION <br />FOR ANAMENDMENTTOTHEHOUSING ET,k"MENTOFTHE <br />GENERAL PLAN (GP-90-4) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at its meeting of October 2, 1990, the City Council <br />received a proposed negative declaration for an amendment <br />to the Housing Element of the General Plan as filed under <br />Case GP-90-4; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the city Council has received and reviewed the initial <br />Study and received the recommendations of the staff and <br />Planning Commission; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time the <br />public was given the opportunity to comment on the <br />environmental impacts of the proposed General Plan <br />Amendment; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts in <br />accordance with the applicable state and local guidelines <br />governing the preparation of Negative Declarations and <br />Environmental Impact Reports; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council finds that the proposed General Plan <br />Amendment would not have any significant adverse effects <br />on the environment. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the Negative Declaration for an amendment to <br /> the Housing Element of the General Plan to include new <br /> regional housing share allocations and other policy <br /> program revisions as filed under Case GP-90-4. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
