MINUTES PLANNING COMMISSION Pleasanton Council Chambers 30 West Angela Street July 13, 1977 8:00 P.M. CALL TO ORDER The regular meeting of the Planning Commission was called to order by Chairman Butler at 9:00 P.M. ROLL CALL Commissioners Present: Doherty, Jamieson, Wood, Chairman Butler Commissioners Absent: Shepherd Staff Members Present: Robert Harris, Director of Planning; Harvey Levine, Deputy City Attorney; Don Sooby, Director of Engineering Services; Yvonne McFadden, Recording Secretary Council Member: Frank Brandes, Jr. The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was recited. APPROVAL OF MINUTES The minutes of the regular meeting of June 8, 1977, and the special meeting of June 29, 1977, were approved as submitted. REVISIONS AND OMISSIONS TO THE AGENDA Add 7b - Conformity with the General Plan for acquisition of property at 7769 Desertwood Lane. Add 7c - Initiate ordinance amendment to allow mobile home sites on school property. Before beginning review of the public hearing agenda items, Chairman Butler asked that the audience make all comments pertinent to the case at hand due to the long agenda, and wherever possible, input should be taken from a spokesman for a group. Chairman Butler announced that Item 6a PUD-77-3, Morrison Homes, Inc., be heard as Item 6f. The Commission concurred because other agenda items appeared to be items which could be heard in lesser time. PUBLIC HEARINGS - NEW BUSINESS UP-77-9, St Clare's Episcopal Church - application for renewal of a con- ditional use permit to construct and operate a church facility on a three- acre site located on the northwest corner of Hopyard Road and Valley Trails Drive (south); zoning for the property is RM-2500 (Multiple Residential) District. The staff report dated July 13, 1977. Secretary Harris asked for one revision - that Condition No. 15 in Resolution 1420 (adopted on this CUP) be used in place of Condition No. 2 in the staff report. The Public Hearing was opened.
