Chairman <br />Butler concurred. <br />RZ-77-19, City Council - application for an amendment to Section 2-7.08(a), <br />Article 8, Chapter 2, Title II of the Ordinance Code of the City of <br />Pleasanton which would revise, comprehensively, the schedule of permitted <br />and conditional uses in all of the commercially zoned districts of the <br />City of Pleasanton. <br />Secretary Harris advised the Planning Commission that he would recommend <br />against allowing convenience markets in the C-F District. <br />Joe Madden, 3851 Vineyard Avenue, referred to Page 16 of the list of uses. <br />He asked that "Restaurants and soda fountains, not including express windows <br />or drive-ins" be conditionally allowed in the C-S District. Secretary <br />Harris expressed objection to this that it would not meet the purposes of <br />the C-S District. <br />Next, Wally Wallner again mentioned that he felt it would be appropriate <br />to include convenience markets as a conditional use in the C-F District. <br />Some discussion ensued regarding this use. <br />Resolution No. 1615 was then entered and adopted recommending to the City <br />Council adoption of RZ-77-19, with one modification - to allow restaurants <br />and soda fountains with express windows or drive-ins as conditionally <br />allowed in the C-F District. <br />Roll Call Vote <br />Resolution: Doherty <br />Seconded: Shepherd <br />Ayes: Doherty, Jamieson, <br />Noes: None <br />Absent: None <br />Abstain: None <br />Shepherd, Wood, Chairman Butler <br />-5- <br />
