This review will go before the City Council on <br />April 23. There have been numerous complaints from nearby residents regard- <br />ing the types of activities being considered for the sports park, and there <br />are early indications this land swap is causing concern among some of the <br />residents also. <br />Some discussion took place regarding the layout and access to the park. <br />MATTERS INITIATED BY COMMISSION MEMBERS <br />A. Chairman Doherty spoke a few words recognizing the dedication and years <br />of service CommissionerShepherd has given to the City as a Planning Commission <br />member as well as on other Boards. <br />Resolution 1637 was entered and adopted expressing appreciation for his <br />-5- <br />
