MINUTES <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />Harvest Park School <br />4900 Valley Avenue <br />November 1, 1978 <br />7:30 P.M. <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />The special meeting of the Planning Commission of the City of Pleasanton <br />was called to order at 7:30 P.M. <br />ROLL CALL <br />Commissioners Present: <br />Commissioners Absent: <br />Staff Members Present: <br />Council Members Present: <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />There were none . <br />Leppert, Getty, Wilson and Acting <br />Chairman Doherty <br />Chairman Jamieson <br />Robert Harris, Director of Planning and <br />Community Development; Harvey Levine, City <br />Attorney; Jeff Luxenberg, Consultant for <br />the City of Pleasanton; Shirley McDougall, <br />Recording Secretary <br />Ken Mercer, Mayor <br />REVISIONS AND OMISSIONS TO THE AGENDA <br />Robert Harris, Secretary, made a motion to the Commission that RZ-78-7, <br />application of the City Council to rezone Mission Park be heard on this <br />agenda as item 6a. The Commission adopted this motion. <br />OLD BUSINESS <br />There was none. <br />NEW BUSINESS - Public Hearings <br />RZ-78-11, Application of the City Council <br />Review and recommendation regarding the proposed H-O (Historic Overlay) <br />District Ordinance, H-O District Alteration Guidelines and List of <br />Properties to be placed in the H-O District. A negative declaration of <br />environmental impact was also considered. <br />Mr. Harris explained that the City Council recommended the drafting and <br />study of an H-O District. <br />Jeff Luxenberg was introduced by Mr. Harris. Mr. Luxenberg has been <br />employed by the City of Pleasanton as a consultant to complete a study <br />concerning the proposed Historic Overlay District. Mr. Luxenberg <br />described the report. <br />Mr. Harris then cited two changes on Map B; one with regard to the Hall <br />property and the other with regard to the Foust property which was <br />recently subdivided. <br />
