Box 520 Pleasanton CA CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON 94566 ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA 70-2'?6460 RESOLUTION NO. 90-182 RESOLUTION SUMMARILY VACATING A PORTION OF JOHNSON DRIVE WHEREAS, pursuant to Chapter 4, Part 3, Division 9 of the California Streets and Highways Code, the City Council may summarily vacate excess right of way of a street or highway, when not required for street or highway purposes (Section 8334, Streets & Highways Code); and WHEREAS, a portion of Johnson Drive, as described in Exhibit A attached to this resolution and incorporated herein by reference, is no longer needed for right of way purposes in that Johnson Drive in this area has been realigned and relocated; and WHEREAS, public convenience and necessity require a reservation of a public service easement as described in Exhibit "A", over the area to be vacated. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: That portion of Johnson Drive, described in Exhibit A attached to this resolution is hereby summarily vacated, subject to the reservation of a public service easement over the same area vacated. Section 2: The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to cause a certified copy of this resolution of vacation to be recorded in the office of the Alameda County Recorder.
