Walt Schaumburg and Brian Swift
of the staff were also in the audience.
Council Member Present: Frank Brandes
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
The minutes of the January 10, 1979 were approved after some discussion
concerning a portion of those mintues having to do with "Reduction of
Planning Commission Workload." After confirmation of the issue in
question by Council Member Brandes, Mr. Geppert made a motion to approve
the minutes and they were approved by other Commissioners.
REVISIONS AND OMISSIONS TO THE AGENDA
Mr. Harris stated the Chamberlain Group, PUD-78-5, had requested they be
put last on the agenda. The Commissioners agreed to this request.
MATTERS INITIATED BY THE COMMISSION MEMBERS
Chairman Jamieson suggested that all draft EIRs be sent to the Planning
Commission members so that they might review them at their leisure as
opposed to being sent to them in final form with their packet. All of
the Commissioners concurred with this request. The final volume (com-
pleting the EIR) will be included with Commissioners packets.
Chairman Jamieson thanked the League of Women Voters for comments on
Pleasanton's General Plan and stated he hoped the Commissioners and Council
Members would sit down with the representatives of League of Women Voters
and review the comments.
Chairman Jamieson then acknowledged Mr. Ebreht's letter with regard to
the population of the City.
Commissioner Doherty stated he would like to attend the Spring Conference
for the California Downtown Association March 29-31. Commissioner Getty
stated she felt it would be a good idea to have a Commissioner present
at this conference.
