CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 90-180 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION DISSOLVING THE PrmASANTON GOLF COURSE <br />ORGANIZING COMMITTEE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />on December 6, 1988, the Mayor of the City of Pleasanton, <br />with the concurrence of the City Council, formed a <br />Pleasanton Golf Course Organizing Committee, which <br />Committee was open to the members of the public and which <br />Committee would report back to City Council with its <br />findings and recommendations concerning the development <br />of a golf course for the city; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, more than 90 persons joined the Committee; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />on May 1, 1990, the Committee submitted its report and <br />recommendation to the City Council; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the Committee's efforts have resulted in the City <br />exploring a number of options for a golf course for the <br />community; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Committee has requested that it be disbanded. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The city Council extends its thanks and appreciation <br /> to the Golf Course Organizing Committee for the many <br /> hours spent and the outstanding job it did in preparing <br /> and presenting its report to the Council. <br /> <br />Section 2: <br /> <br /> The goals of the Pleasanton Golf Course Organizing <br />Committee have been successfully completed and therefore <br />the Committee is hereby dissolved. <br /> <br /> <br />
