MINUTES <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />Pleasanton, California <br />Alameda County Fairgrounds - Cafeteria <br />Pleasanton Avenue <br />Wednesday, February 13, 1980 <br />7:30 P.M. <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />The meeting was called to order at 7:30 P.M. by Chairperson Gregg Doherty. <br />ROLL CALL <br />Commissioners Present: Ken Leppert, Joyce Getty, Bill Jamieson, DeWitt <br />Wilson and Chairperson Gregg Doherty <br />Staff Present: Robert J. Harris, Director of Planning and Community <br />Development; Walt Schaumburg, Associate Civil <br />Engineer; Shirley McDougall, Recording Secretary <br />Council Members Present: None <br />The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was recited. <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />The minutes of the January 16, 1980 meeting were approved. <br />MEETING OPEN FOR ANY MEMBER OF THE AUDIENCE TO ADDRESS THE PLANNING COMMISSION <br />No one spoke. <br />REVISIONS AND OMISSIONS TO THE AGENDA <br />Mr. Harris stated that concerning item 9(a), Centex Tentative Map Application <br />this item should be continued to the March meeting as additional information <br />will be available to the staff. The Commission agreed to this request. <br />MATTERS INITIATED BY THE COMMISSION MEMBERS <br />Commissioner Jamieson stated that he counted sixteen lights on West Abbie, <br />west of First Street while West Angela has only two lights. Commissioner <br />Jamieson stated he brought this to the City's attention six months ago and was <br />assured it would be investigated and changed at a future time and as of this <br />meeting nothing has been done concerning this matter. <br />Chairperson Doherty stated he had a notice of a special session concerning <br />the housing crisis at J.F.K. University and stated the notice was available <br />for the other Commissioners to read. <br />OLD BUSINESS <br />There was none. <br />NEW BUSINESS - Public Hearings <br />PUD-79-15, Amador Valley Investors <br />Application of Amador Valley Investors to rezone from the R-1-6500 (Single- <br />Family Residential) District to the PUD (Planned Unit Development) District <br />and development plan approval for a 117-lot, single-family residential sub- <br />division proposed to be built on an approximately 27 acre parcel located just <br />
