A motion was made by Commissioner Doherty, seconded by Commissioner <br />Lindsey that Tract 4671 be approved subject to the five conditions of <br />the Planning Commission staff report, eliminating condition 2, renum- <br />bering the conditions and adding a new condition 5: "That develo~:er <br />construct a functional noise barrier along Santa Rita Road and the <br />SPRR tracks, the design to be approved by the City prior to recordation <br />of a final map." That the report from Engineering Services dated <br />9/10/80 changing condition 1, "that the 35 ft. wide Parcel "A" be <br />dedicated for parks, trail, or public utility purposes." Also <br />condition 16 relating to underground utilities be clarified to show <br />the electric power distribution and communication service systems be <br />placed underground relative to the development with the overhead <br />(outside the development) to be worked out with PG&E at the developer's <br />expense. <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br />Ayes: Commissioners Doherty, Lindsey and Acting Chairperson Getty <br />Noes: None <br />Absent: Commissioner Jamieson <br />Abstain: Chairperson Wilson (stepped down -- financial interest) <br />Resolution No. 1909 was then entered and adopted approving the tentative <br />map for Tract 4671. <br />COMMUNICATIONS <br />None. <br />REFERRALS FROM ALAMEDA COUNTY <br />None. <br />REFERRALS FROM CITY COUNCIL <br />None. <br />REFERRALS FROM THE PARK AND RECREATION COMMISSION <br />None. <br />MATTERS FOR COMMISSION'S INFORMATION <br />The Commissioners discussed when the best time would be to get together <br />with the Bank of America representative prior to the next Design Review <br />Board meeting inasmuch as Mr. Wilson will be out of town and unavailable. <br />After discussion, it was decided next week would be the best time and <br />the Bank of America representative would be notified of this decision. <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 12:00 <br />Midnight by Chairperson Wilson. <br />Robert is, Secretary <br />-17- <br />r_~ <br />
