ROLL CALL VOTE Motion: Commissioner Lindsey Second: Commissioner Doherty Ayes: Commissioners Doherty, Jamieson, Lindsey and Vice Chairperson Getty Absent: Chairperson Wilson Resolution No. 1987 was then entered and adopted recommending approval of case GP-81-1. GP-81-2, Stoneson Development Corporation Application of Stoneson Development Corporation to change the General Plan land use designation of the 91.5± acre site located between I-580, the Stoneridge Mall Road, Stoneridge Drive and I-680 from "High Density Residential" and "Open Space (Parks and Recreation)" and "Community Facilities (Schools)" to "Commercial and Offices," "High Density Residential" and "Open Space (Parks)." A negative declaration of environmental impacts will also be considered. Mr. Harris presented the staff report and recommendation of approval. The public hearing was opened. The public hearing was closed. A motion was made by Commissioner Doherty, seconded by Commissioner Jamieson that while there are significant adverse impacts of the project related to traffic, noise, housing and the provision of public services and facilities, conditions of approval 1 through 6 for project approval as shown in the staff report will reduce those negative impacts to an insignificant level and that the negative declaration proposed for case GP-81-2 be recommended for adoption.
