Commissioner Wilson stated that RAP should be August or September so
that one could get their map filed in a timely manner for construction
early Spring. Mr. Swift said there is nothing in the current ordi-
nance which sets forth a time RAP must be heard during the year.
The Commissioners agreed September would be a good time to consider RAP.
RAP Extension
Commissioner Wilson discussed RAP approvals and the lapse thereof in
18 months. Mr. Swift stated that every year the Council has extended
the approved RAP allocations and no one has lost out. It was suggested
that because of economic times this be put in the ordinance so
that no one will lose out because of financing.
Revenue Mortgage Bond Exemption
The Planning Commission agreed to endorse a one-time ordinance or
resolution allowing the City Council to exempt projects coming
under the proposed mortgage revenue bond program.
The City DZanager discussed briefly the revenue mortgage bond
situation.
Ted Fairfield asked when the next RAP would happen. It was
explained it would happen as soon as the new ordinance was
adopted.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at
5:45 p.m.
Respectfull_y_ submitted,
~,~-t,~~
Rober J. Harris
Secretary
-7-
. ,..,.
