CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 90-175 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION <br />FOR GP-90-6, THE APPLICATION OF JOSEPH W. <br />CATJJkHAN, JR. AND GARY HANSEN FOR ANAMENDMENT <br />TO THE LAND USE ET.k~4ENT OF THE GENERAL PLAN TO <br />CHANGE 12.52 ACRES ON STANLEY BOULEVARD TO <br />HIGH DENSITY RESIDENTIAL <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at its meeting of September 18, 1990, the City Council <br />received a proposed negative declaration for the <br />application of Joseph W. Callahan, Jr. and Gary Hansen to <br />amend the Land Use Element designation of the General <br />Plan of the approximately 12.52 acre site, consisting of <br />the 11.3 acre Madden property ("Commercial and Offices"), <br />the .91 acre Augusta property ("Commercial and Offices"), <br />and the .33 acre Westfall property ("Medium Density <br />Residential") to "High Density Residential" or to any <br />other land use designation deemed in the public interest; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council has received and reviewed the Initial <br />Study dated July 9, 1990 and received the recommendations <br />of the staff and Planning Commission; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time the <br />public was given the opportunity to comment on the <br />environmental impacts of the proposed General Plan <br />Amendment; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the city Council has reviewed the potential impacts in <br />accordance with the applicable state and local guidelines <br />governing the preparation of Negative Declarations and <br />Environmental Impact Reports; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council finds that the proposed General Plan <br />Amendment would not have any significant adverse effects <br />on the environment; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOW~: <br /> <br /> <br />
