PLANNING COMMISSION <br />5/25/83 <br />Page 9 <br />The public hearing was opened and, there being no testimony, <br />the public hearing was then closed. <br />It was moved by Commissioner Getty, seconded by Commissioner <br />Lindsey, to approve the one year extension .for Tentative Tract <br />Map 4850, subject to the existing staff conditions with the <br />addition of the following two conditions: <br />27. That the developer shall submit a mailbox location <br />plan to the City for review and final approval. This <br />plan shall have been cleared with and approved by the <br />local Postmaster. <br />28. That the developer install 3" P.V.C. storm drainage <br />pipes on the low side of each lot through curb face <br />and under sidewalk. <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br />AYES: Commissioners Doherty, Getty, Lindsey, Wilson and <br />Chairman Jamieson <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />Resolution No. 2306 was entered and adopted approving the one <br />year extension for Tract 4850 as motioned above. <br />CC-83-3, Theodore and Mary Vinther, Tract 5168 <br />Application of Theodore and Mary Vinther for tentative subdivision <br />and condominium conversion approval to convert six rental dwelling <br />units at 4359 Fairlands Drive to condominiums. Zoning; for the <br />property is RM-15 (!Multi-family Residential) district. <br />Mr. ~iarris reviewed the staff report. <br />Commission Getty asked why the Commission was reviewing this <br />application and not the Council. Mr. Swift responded that the <br />Council usually reviewed condominium conversions, but since this <br />project had the consent of all the tenants, it was in an exempt <br />category and therefore subject to Commission determination. <br />There was general discussion about the verification of tenant <br />approval and fire protection between units. <br />The public hearing was opened. <br />Jim Krause of Castlewood Properties, 205F ?~[ain Street, Pleasanton, <br />addressed the Commission on behalf of the ap_nlicants. He indicated <br />notice had been given to all tenants within the required period and <br /> <br />
