General Plan and Rezoning Studv for Reis Homes Propert Ire response to a $etition nresented.at the last meeting, the Commission i~rs~ttu-c~ed staff to come back with recom*nendations for a General Plan Amendment for the site. Mr. Harris indicated that without a traffic study for this area, staff could not make a recommendation regarding a General Plan amendment. If the Commission wishes to pursue this matter, it should direct staff to ~renare such a studv. The Commission inquired if this area had not been covered in the Dlorth Pleasanton Assessment District studies and Mr. Swift responded that the intersection of Stoneridge and Springdale had been, but the intersection of Springdale and Stonedale had not been covered. The public hearing was then opened. Mr. Leonard McVicar of Pacific Designs, 255 North TZarket Street, San Jose, addressed the Commission. His firm was responsible for the original plan. He introduced r'Ir. Diclc Ivy of Barton Ashmann Associates.
