Chairman Jamieson commented that he felt the site was too small for the project and he objects to anything over three stories. It was moved by Commissioner Lindsey, and seconded by Commissioner Wilson, that the mitigated negative declaration prepared for the application for case PUD-83-7 be recommended for approval as the project would have no significant adverse effects on the environment. It was then moved by Commissioner Doherty, seconded by Commissioner Wilson, to recommend approval of PUD-83-7, subject to the 52 conditions in the staff report including a change to condition ~~46 regarding the time frame for acquiring building permits and adding condition ~k53 to require commencement of construction on the savings and loan building at the same time as the hotel and in the event they could not, then the area would be landscaped and paved for parkintr.
