MINUTES <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />Pleasanton, California <br />City Council Chambers <br />200 Bernal Avenue <br />Wednesday, June 8, 1983 <br />8:OOpm <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />The meeting was called to order at 8:25pm by Chairman William A. Jamieson <br />The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was recited. <br />ROLL CALL <br />Commissioners Present: Gregg Doherty, Joyce Getty, Larry Lindsey, <br />DeWitt C. Wilson and William A. Jamieson, Chairman <br />Commissioners Absent: None <br />Staff i=~embers Present: Robert J. Harris, Director of Planning and <br />Community Development; Brian W. Swift, Assistant <br />City Attorney; Robert Okamura, Assistant City <br />Engineer; Robert L. Warnick, Director of Public <br />Works and Utilities; and Shirley McDougall <br />Recording Secretary <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />The Minutes of the 5/25/83 meeting were approved. changing Paragraph No. 7 <br />on Page 2 to reflect that DeWitt Wilson, rather than William A. Jamieson <br />brought up the idea of having a joint meeting with the City Council to <br />discuss the benchmarks..." <br />MEETING OPEN FOR ANY MEMBER OF THE AUDIENCE TO ADDRESS THE COMMISSION ON <br />ANY ITEM WHTCH IS NOT ALREADY ON THE AGENDA <br />No one addressed the Planning Commission. <br />REVISIONS AND OMISSIONS TO THE AGENDA <br />Mr. Harris indicated that cases PUD-83-10 and GP-83-3 should be continued <br />to the meeting of June 22, 1983, 8:OOpm, City Council Chambers. <br />Commissioner Getty asked about case GP-83-3 and the Twain Hart Decision. <br />Mr. Harris explained in involves the Land Use Elements of General Plans. <br />Commissioner Doherty expressed concern with a letter received by him <br />concerning a minor modification to case PUD-79-9 involving Castlewood <br />Properties planned unit development at Pico and Vineyard. He questioned <br />whether or not this is really a minor modification as opposed to major and <br />had concerns with the conversion of all garages to carports. He indicated <br />he has expressed concerns with these two items to both Messrs. Glenn and <br />Dunkley. <br /> <br />
