PLANNING COMMISSION <br />June 22, 1983 <br />Page Two <br />MATTERS INITIATED BY COMMISSION MEMBERS <br />Sta was asked i any o the new PG&E transformers contain <br />PCB. Mr. Harris indicated the Fire Department is presently <br />trying to inventory existing transformers to see where any <br />containing PCB are located. Mr. Warnick indicated that no new <br />facilities contain PCB. <br />OLD BUSINESS - Public Hearings <br />MS-82-4, William Yee <br />Application o William Yee to subdivide an approximately 51 acre <br />site into four parcels, consisting of three approximately 5 acre <br />and one 36 acre parcel located on the west side of Foothill Road <br />directly across from Foothill High School. Zoning for the <br />property is "A" (Agricultural) District. A negative declaration <br />of environmental impacts will also be considered. <br />Mr. Harris presented the staff report recommending approval. Mr. <br />Warnick reviewed some proposed changes in the conditions of approval. <br />The public hearing was opened. <br />Martin Inderbitzen, 62 West Neal Street, addressed the Commission <br />on behalf of the applicants. He indicated he concurred with the <br />staff report, with the modified conditions and felt a fair compromise <br />had been worked out. Mr. Inderbitzen then reviewed a map of the <br />proposed subdivision and indicated Parcel 4 may be expanded to approx- <br />imately 10 acres and would like to have the flexibility to do that at <br />the time the Parcel Map is filed. <br />There were no questions from the Commission and the public hearing <br />was closed. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Getty, seconded by Commissioner <br />Arrigoni, that the Mitigated Negative Declaration prepared for <br />case MS-82-4 be adopted inasmuch as conditions imposed upon the <br />project would reduce any potentially significant adverse effects <br />to an insignificant level. <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br />AYES: Commissioners Arrigoni, Getty and Acting Chairman Lindsey <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Commissioners Doherty, Jamieson and Wilson <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />Resolution No. 2318 was then entered and adopted approving the <br />Mitigated Negative Declaration prepared for Case MS-82-4 as motioned. <br />
