ROLL CALL VOTE AYES: Commissioners Doherty, Getty, Lindsey, Wilson and Chairman Jamieson NOES: None ABSENT: None ABSTAIN: None Resolution No. 2354 was entered and adopted recommending approval of the Newspaper Dispenser Ordinance presented. UP-83-31, Valle Memorial Hos ital Application o Valley Memorial Hospital for conditional use permit approval to operate an approximately 114 bed, 102,000 sq. ft., two story hospital and a 44,600 sq, ft., three story medical office building and related facilities on an aprpoximately 21 acre site at the northwest corner of West Las Positas Boulevard and Santa Rita Road. Zoning for the property is "P" (Public and Institutional) District. This matter was continued to 9/28/83. MATTERS FOR COMMISISON'S REVIEW Discuss initiation of chan a to outdoor sales ordinance After a brief discussion, the Planning Commission concurred with the recommendation of th City Staff and initiated an application for an amendment to the outdoor sales ordinance. MOTION: Commissioner Wilson SECOND Commissioner Getty AYES: Commissioners Doherty, Getty,Lindsey Wilson and Chairman Jamieson NOES: None ABSENT: None ABSTAIN: None An application was then initiated to amend the Outdoor Sales Ordinance as described by staff. COMMUNICATIONS Chairman Jamieson mentioned his letter to the City Council, copies of which were distributed to the Commission concerning Santa Rita Road. Mr. Warnick stated that at their meeting of September 13, 1983 the City Council didn't mention receiving the letter. Commissioner Wilson indicated that on the previous Saturday while they were at the Century House an auto jumped the divider.
