MINUTES <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />10/12/83 <br />Page 4 <br />Renee Rice, 3981 Vineyard Avenue, has been in Pleasanton for <br />15 years. She wanted to see the quaint beauty retained. Realistically, <br />however, one must realize that the land zoned for business park <br />development will not be maintained as cow pastures. She felt <br />Pleasanton was quite fortunate to have a clean industrial park <br />come to town. It would provide jobs, participation in the cultural <br />arts and other vital items to the community. <br />Jack Hovingh, 4250 Muirwood Drive, recommended endorsing the <br />rezoning of the 21 acres from L-I to Industrial Park, but had <br />some reservationsana didn't feel it should be these particular <br />acres. <br />Frank Guthrey, 1447 Cedarwood Lane, felt to deny this application <br />could deny the people the right to live and work within this <br />town.
