A motion was made by Commissioner Wilson, seconded by
Commissioner Innes that case PUD-84-6 be recommended for approval
subject to the conditions of the staff report, changing number
three to have the elevations to come back before the Design
Review Board.
ROLL CALL VOTE
AYES• Commissioners Innes, Lindsey, Wilson and
• Chairman Doherty
NOES• Commissioner Getty
ABSENT: None
ABSTAIN: None
Resolution No. 2540 was entered and adopted recommending approval
of case PUD-84-G as motioned.
RZ-84-17, City of Pleasanton
Application of the City of Pleasanton to prezone the
approximately 276 acre site located on the west side of Foothill
Road opposite Stoneridge Drive and extending westerly and
northerly to Dublin Canyon Road to the PUD (Planned Unit
Development)-Low Density Residential and Open Space District. A
negative declaration of environmental impacts will also be
considered.
Mr. Harris presented the staff report recommending approval of
the prezoning as shown in the staff report.
Commissioner Wilson asked if Moller is aware of this. Mr. Harris
stated that they have agreed to annex one of their parcels
(northernmost). They do not want to annex the quarry property at
this time. Commissioner Wilson asked if the City had the right
to require that it be annexed. Mr. Warnick stated that the
proponent of this application haven't yet acquired the Moller
property.
Commissioner Innes asked about the Styles, Lewis and Kolb
properties. Mr. Warnick indicated that they are not interested
in annexing at this time. Mr. Warnick indicated that LAFCO has
previously allowed annexations of this type and cited the
Lund/Bonde annexations.
Chairman Doherty said the applicant should be aware that the City
is recommending Low Density Residential for this property and it
is possible the City will keep it at that designation.
Commissioner Innes asked if the property owner is preparing to
put plans in for office development. Mr. Harris indicated that
they have had some preliminary engineering work done but doesn't
know what else has been done. Commissioner Wilson stated that
this property has been advertised in the Wall Street Journal.
The public hearing was opened.
No one addressed this matter.
- 4 -
_ _ _ _ IT
