Commissioner Getty asked Joe Callahan, Callahan-Pentz Properties <br />about the signs in the parking lot at Chabot Center. She <br />felt directional arrows are necessary to prevent confusion <br />when one leaves the parking lot. Mr. Callahan agreed with <br />this and stated that Karen Fraser-Middleton has been assigned <br />to take care of this task. He has also asked the owners <br />association to distribute a booklet which they had originally <br />made available to the first tenants. <br />Z-84-232, Robert Molinaro <br />Application of Robert Molinaro for Pleasnton Garbage Service <br />to construct an approximately 880 sq. ft. addition to the <br />existing single-story and an approximately 2816 sq. ft. second <br />story addition to the facility located at 3110 Busch Road. <br />The property is zoned IG (General Industrial) District. <br />Mr. Harris represented the staff report recommending approval <br />of case Z-84-232. <br />Commissioner Innes asked if the air conditioner above the <br />parapet would be exposed. Mr. Harris stated that you will <br />not be able to see it from the ground level. It should <br />be painted to blend into the backdrop and there is a condition <br />in the staff report requiring the mechanical equipment be <br />screened. <br />The public hearing was opened. <br />Martin Inderbitzen, 62 West Neal Street, Attorney at law, <br />represented Mr. Molinaro. He thanked the Commission for <br />their special meeting. They will see that the air conditioner <br />is properly screened and agrees to the conditions proposed <br />in the staff report. <br />The public hearing was closed. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Lindsey, seconded by Commissioner <br />Innes that case Z-84-232 be approved subject to the conditions <br />shown in the staff report. <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br />AYES: Commissioners Getty, Innes, Lindsey, <br />.Wilson and Chairman Doherty <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />Resolution No. 2520 was entered and adopted approving case <br />Z-84-232 as motioned. <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />The meeting was adjourned at 8:OOpm by Chairman Gregg Doherty. <br />Respectfully submitted, <br />~"~--` <br />Roberty J.
