He felt the development would benefit every citizen of Pleasanton. <br />He would like to see the applicant contact the press and show them the proposal. He <br />felt it was important that the citizenry see nice proposals. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Getty, seconded by Commissioner Lindsey that <br />case PUD-83-11 be recommended for approval subject to the conditions of the staff <br />report, modifying Condition No. 6 as follows: <br />That existing Amador Valley Athletic Club buildings shall match the hotel in color <br />and texture or as agreed upon between the staff and developer. <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br />AYES: Commissioners Getty, Lindsey and Acting Chairman Wilson <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Commissioners Doherty, Arrigoni and Chairman Jamieson <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />Resolution No. 2413 was entered and adopted recommending approval of case PUD-83-11 <br />as motioned. <br />UP-83-60, Roy and Lucy Bettenhausen etal <br />Appliction of Roy and Lucy Bettenhausen and Carl and Donna Graffenstatte for conditional <br />use permit approval to operate a hotdog restaurant at 707 Main Street. Zoning for <br />the property is C-C (Central Commercial) District. <br />This matter was continued to 1/25/84 at the r equest of the applicant. <br />PUD-80-14-2 M, City of Pleasanton <br />Application of the City of Pleasanton to amend condition No. 8 of PUD-80-14 (Pleasanton <br />Park) with regard to traffic level of service (LOS) at the Owens Drive/Hopyard Road <br />intersection. <br />This matter was continued to 1/25/84 at the request of Reynolds and Brown <br />UP 83-58, Lisa J. Cox <br />Application of Lisa J. Cox for conditional use permit approval to operate a childrens' <br />daycare facility for a maximum of 12 children at 5794 San Antonio Street. Zoning for <br />the property is R-1-6500 (Single-family Residential) District. <br />Mr. Harris presented the staff report recommending approval. <br />The public hearing was opened. <br />Lisa Cox, 5794 San Antonio, spoke on behalf of her application. She stated she currently <br />has six children at her home for daycare purposes. She said that with approval for 12 <br />children it would give her flexibility for more drop in children. She said that traffic would <br />not increase because it is her intention to pick the children up from school. <br />Commissioner Wilson asked how long Mrs. Cox had been watching children. Mrs. Cox <br />explained that she formerly worked at the Ark Preschool which has closed. The age <br />group of the children she watches at the current time is from three years to ten or <br />11 years of age. <br />-6- <br />
