Minutes <br />Planning Commissior_ <br />3/27/85 <br />ABSENT: Commissioners Getty and Wilson <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />Resolution No. 2633 was entered and adopted recommending approval <br />of Case PUD-81-28-2M as motioned. <br />TENTATIVE MAPS <br />There were none. <br />COMMUNICATIONS <br />There were none. <br />REFERRALS <br />There were none. <br />MATTERS FOR COMMISSION'S INFORMATION <br />Chairman Doherty asked is there is a more definitive outline as <br />to where Del Valle Parkway will go. Mr. Harris stated that this <br />is being worked on. There was a meeting Monday night between the <br />Engineering Department and the neighbors. Mr. Okamura stated <br />another meeting would be held, the hold up is with getting aerial <br />photographs from MacKay and Somps. He expects that a study and <br />proposed alignment will be completed within about one and half <br />months. There will be other public meetings, referrals made to <br />Planning Commission and then to City Council. <br />Regarding the City Council meeting of March 26,1985, Mr. Harris <br />indicated that the Heinrich, Ales prezoning was continued <br />indefinitely for discussion of the residents of the Remen Tract <br />and the City for annexation of the entire Remen Tract. He stated <br />that the David Martin Co. and Ashwill Hawkins proposals were <br />approved at City Council. <br />Commissioner Innes asked about the traffic report for Martin <br />Company and the assumptions used. Mr. Harris stated that TJKM <br />has indicated they will be submitting changes to the assumptions <br />based upon 1984 information. Commissioner Innes had concern with <br />always using the previous year's assumptions. <br />Commissioner Lindsey asked staff about the status of the most <br />recent hotels. Mr. Harris stated that Harbor View will be <br />considered by City Council April 16, 85. Commissioner Lindsey <br />stated that Double Tree is currently breaking ground. <br />Chairman Doherty stated that at the recent Planning Commissioners <br />Institute he had occasion to meet with people of San Marcos who <br />agreed to share information with regard to trash and waste <br />management. When this information is received, it will be <br />distributed. They would like information on the North Pleasanton <br />Assessment District and traffic management programs.
