Minutes <br />Planning Commissio. <br />2/13/85 <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />Resolution No. 2609 was entered and adopted recommending the <br />subject property be changed to RM-2500 exclusive of the Amaral <br />property. <br />RZ-85-3, City of Pleasanton <br />Application of the City of Pleasanton to rezone an approximately <br />25,500 sq. ft. site located at the southwest corner of the <br />intersection of Peters Avenue and Division Street from RM-1500 <br />(Multiple-family Residential) District to the "A" (Agricultural) <br />District or to any other district consistent with the General <br />Plan. A Negative Declaration of Environmental Impacts will also <br />be considered. <br />Mr. Harris presented the staff report recommending approval of <br />Case RZ-85-3. <br />The public hearing was opened. <br />Commissioner Lindsey inquired about the status of the Park. Mr. <br />Swift indicated it is not currently a high priority item in the <br />capital improvement program. Mr. Warnick stated that the Park <br />and Recreation Commission, in the very near future will look at <br />their capital improvement programs and reprioritize their needs. <br />He didn't believe that they had any money in their programs for <br />development at the current time. <br />Commissioner Getty expressed concern with the neighbors wanting <br />parks in neighborhoods but not having the funds for developing <br />and maintaining them. <br />The public hearing was closed. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Getty, seconded by Commissioner <br />Lindsey that approval of Case RZ-85-3 would have an insignificant <br />effect on the environment and recommended that the Negative <br />Declaration be recommended for adoption. <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br />AYES: Commissioners Getty, Innes, Lindsey, Wilson and <br />Chairman Doherty <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />Resolution No. 2610 was entered and adopted recommending approval <br />of the Negative Declaration prepared for case RZ-85-3 as <br />motioned. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Lindsey, seconded by <br />Commissioner Innes that the property described in Case RZ-85-3 be <br />rezoned "A" (Agriculture) District. <br />- 13 - <br />. ~ <br />
