Minutes Planning Commissio. 2/13/85 ABSENT: None ABSTAIN: None Resolution No. 2609 was entered and adopted recommending the subject property be changed to RM-2500 exclusive of the Amaral property. RZ-85-3, City of Pleasanton Application of the City of Pleasanton to rezone an approximately 25,500 sq. ft. site located at the southwest corner of the intersection of Peters Avenue and Division Street from RM-1500 (Multiple-family Residential) District to the "A" (Agricultural) District or to any other district consistent with the General Plan. A Negative Declaration of Environmental Impacts will also be considered. Mr. Harris presented the staff report recommending approval of Case RZ-85-3. The public hearing was opened. Commissioner Lindsey inquired about the status of the Park. Mr. Swift indicated it is not currently a high priority item in the capital improvement program. Mr. Warnick stated that the Park and Recreation Commission, in the very near future will look at their capital improvement programs and reprioritize their needs. He didn't believe that they had any money in their programs for development at the current time. Commissioner Getty expressed concern with the neighbors wanting parks in neighborhoods but not having the funds for developing and maintaining them. The public hearing was closed. A motion was made by Commissioner Getty, seconded by Commissioner Lindsey that approval of Case RZ-85-3 would have an insignificant effect on the environment and recommended that the Negative Declaration be recommended for adoption.
