Minutes <br />Planning Commissio. <br />January 9, 1985 <br />Conditions No. 10 and 11 are subject to previous agreements of <br />the City. <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br />AYES: Commissioners Innes and Vice Chairman Wilson <br />NOES: Commissioners Getty, Lindsey and Wellman <br />ABSENT: Chairman Doherty <br />ABSTAIN:None <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Lindsey, seconded by <br />Commissioner Getty that case PUD-84-21 be recommended for <br />approval subject to the conditions shown in the staff report with <br />the following changes: <br />2. That the applicant be aware that no construction can begin on <br />the development until the 0.44 acre San Francisco Water <br />Department property and the 40 foot wide access strip owned <br />by the City of Pleasanton is under the ownership of EVH. <br />18. That no construction can begin until construction begins on <br />Bernal Avenue to Sunol Boulevard. <br />19. That Conditions No. 10 and 11 are subject to previous <br />agreements of the City. <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br />AYES: Commissioners Getty, Innes, Lindsey, Wellman and <br />Vice Chairman Wilson <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Chairman Doherty <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />Resolution No. 2593 was entered and adopted recommending approval <br />of case PUD-84-21 as motioned. <br />PUD-81-30-26D, Prudential Insurance Co. of America <br />Application of Prudential Insurance Co. for design review <br />approval to construct a two building, approximately 212,268 sq. <br />ft. office complex on an approximately 14.2 acre site located on <br />the northeast corner of the intersection of West Las Positas <br />Boulevard and Hopyard Road. Zoning for the property is PUD <br />(Planned Unit Development)-Industrial, Commercial and Offices <br />District. <br />Mr. Harris presented the staff report recommending approval of <br />this project. Vice Chairman Wilson asked why the City had turned <br />down a similar project. Mr. Harris explained. <br />The public hearing was opened. <br />Warren Sattler, Prudential Insurance Co., 4637 Chabot Drive, <br />presented the project. He stated the City previously had <br />concerns with a massive appearance and they have redesigned the <br />project accordingly. He reviewed the landscaping plan, facade <br />- 9 - <br />....
