Minutes
Planning Commission
October 8, 1986
Commissioner Michelotti basically agreed with the other
Commissioners. She felt Lot #5 could be larger and the line
dropped down to preserve the barn. She would like to see it per
staff recommendation or have the line dropped down having a
similar lot to the east. She felt the flag lot of Skinner was
okay. Commissioner Michelotti asked staff if it is the lot size
or the configuration which makes the proposal not consistent.
Mr. Swift stated that the PUD has minimum 20,000 sq. ft. lot
size. All lots are five acres and have seven lots each except
for Jennaro which has six.
Commissioner Wellman stated that the locations of the trees are
not shown. From a planning standpoint she would be more
comfortable with Skinner having 7 lots and Combs doing something
similar to staff's proposal. The line for the property on Lot 7
could be dropped to the east or change lots on No. 2.
Mr. Hirst said if there was leeway where staff shows the dotted
line, they could work with it. Mr. Swift indicated that
obviously if there is a tree in the way, it could be worked
around, otherwise the dotted line would hold.
Commissioner Hoyt feels more comfortable with one less lot and
agreed with the comments of Commissioner Wellman. He didn't feel
it necessary to eliminate the flag lot but it could be
eliminated. Commissioner Hoyt supported staff's recommendation
which includes Condition No.l(a).
A motion was made by Commissioner Michelotti, seconded by
Commissioner Berger that the negative declaration prepared for
Case PUD-86-15 be recommended for approval inasmuch as approval
of Case PUD-86-15 will have an insignificant adverse effect on
the environment.
ROLL CALL VOTE
AYES: Commissioners Berger, Hoyt, Michelotti and Vice
Chairman Wellman
NOES: None
ABSENT: Commissioner Innes
ABSTAIN: Chairman Lindsey
Resolution No. 2844 was entered and adopted recommending approval
of the Negative Declaration for Case PUD-86-15 as motioned.
A motion was made by Commissioner Michelotti, seconded by
Commissioner Hoyt that Case PUD-86-15 be recommended for adoption
subject to the conditions of the staff report.
ROLL CALL VOTE
AYES: Commissioners Berger, Hoyt, Michelotti and Vice
Chairman Wellman
NOES: None
ABSENT: Commissioner Innes
ABSTAIN: Chairman Lindsey
- 8 -
_. ..__... __ _.. - . __.___... _ .. _.~.. .._ ., T
