Minutes of the Continued Planning Commission Meeting of 8/27/86 <br />Held on 9/3/86 <br />DeWitt Wilson, 1784 Beachwood Way, President of the Alameda <br />County Fair Association, stated the Rose Avenue extension sounds <br />great, but in fact would have to be extended 600 feet south <br />because of the elevation of the bridge. <br />Commissioner Innes said he had no <br />Residential for the area but with or <br />appropriate. They agree with the staff's position on their <br />property. He just wanted to reiterate special circumstances <br />relating to traffic and land use. <br />Mr. Wilcox wished to thank publicly Mr. Robert Okamura for all of <br />his work on the special committee. <br />Vote: MDR (6.7 acres) and HDR (5.5 acres) - 5.0 <br />Parcel 15 - Marsh <br />Commissioner Innes said he could not support Industrial because <br />of the topography. Commissioner Innes said he could support the <br />CFA. <br />Commissioner Wellman could not support housing for the property <br />because of the noise impacts. <br />Vote: CFA 5-0 <br />Parcel 16 - Heaton <br />Mr. Lee presented the staff recommendation of CFA. <br />Vote: CFA 5-0 <br />- 12 - <br />_. _ _ ___.r _. <br />
