Mr. Swift presented the staff report recommending approval.
Commissioner Innes expressed concern with the occupancy load of
the building. Mr. Swift stated that the Building and Fire
Departments had no concern with this matter.
The public hearing was opened.
No one addressed this item and the public hearing was closed.
Commissioner Innes couldn't support this application because he
felt the occupancy load was too high.
A motion was made by Commissioner Michelotti, seconded by
Commissioner Hoyt that Case UP-86-31 be approved subject to the
conditions of the staff report as all findings shown therein are
made.
ROLL CALL VOTE
AYES: Commissioners Hoyt, Michelotti and Chairman Lindsey
NOES: Commissioner Innes
ABSENT: Commissioners Berger and Wellman
ABSTAIN: None
Resolution No. 2810 was entered and adopted approving Case
UP-86-31 as motioned.
Tract 5521, Gregorson/Smith
Application to subdivide an approximately 2.9 acre site into ten
parcels, ranging in size from approximately 7215 sq. ft. to
approximately 16,950 sq. ft., located on the south side of
Flagstone Drive between Hillcrest Way and Forest Hill Drive.
Zoning for the property is R-1-6500 (single-family Residential)
District.
Mr. Swift presented the staff report recommending approval of
this application.
Commissioner Michelotti asked how the proposed soundwall would
fit in with the existing fencing program. Mr. Swift stated it is
conditioned to come back with the design for review. He
anticipates this type of fence won't be grape stake but whether
it will be a soundwall or masonry hasn't been determined.
Commissioner Innes asked how the soundwall would blend in.
Mr. Swift stated staff is proposing landscaping in the front of
the wall so that there will not be too much difficulty in having
it be compatible with the existing fencing. Inasmuch as the lots
are lower than the fence line, a soundwall will not be needed to
attenuate noise.
The public hearing was opened.
- 6 -
r
