Minutes <br />Planning Commission <br />May 28, 1986 <br />GP-86-3, City of Pleasanton <br />Application of the City of Pleasanton to amend the General Plan <br />Land Use Element designation of an approximately 4.8 acre site <br />from Low Density Residential to Open Space (Parks and Recreation) <br />and of an approximately 4.5 acre site from Open Space (Parks and <br />Recreation) to Medium Density Residential generally located in <br />the area south and north of Mission Hills Park, respectively. <br />This matter was continued to 6/25/86. <br />RZ-86-4, City of Pleasanton <br />Application of the City of Pleasanton to amend the Municipal Code <br />relating to regulation of signage for multi-story office <br />structures. <br />This item was continued to 6/11/86. <br />MATTERS FOR COMMISSION'S REVIEW <br />Initiate Amendment <br />Administrator Publ <br />Fences <br /> <br />to Municipal Code to Standardize Z <br />c Notice and Hear <br />Procedures for Overhei <br />t <br />Mr. Swift presented the staff report recommending a change to the <br />Code. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Innes, seconded by Commissioner <br />Michelotti that a code amendment be initiated to standardize <br />public notice and hearing procedures for overheight fences as <br />recommended in the staff report. <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br />AYES: Commissioners Hoyt, <br />Chairman Lindsey <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />Innes, Michelotti, Wellman and <br />Status Re ort on Game Station Conditional Use Permit Compliance <br />Excerpts of the Planning Commission Meeting of May 28, 1986 <br />Chairman Larry Lindsey stated he really appreciates the staff's <br />response. Commissioner Brian Hoyt felt the report to be very <br />thorough. Chairman Lindsey announced that even though this <br />matter is not a public hearing he will allow Mr. Evans, the owner <br />of the Game Station to comment on the staff report. <br />Mr. Brian Swift stated that the owner owner has been quite <br />cooperative with staff and had already begun to try and address <br />the problems that were pointed out prior to being contacted by <br />the staff. <br />Mr. Larry Evans, 2716 Lariat Lane, Walnut Creek, owner of the <br />Game Station stated that he has gotten together with 7-1 1 Store, <br />and Perry's Liquors as well as Garlex Pizza and contracted a <br />- 4 - <br />
