Minutes Planning Commissior. March 26, 1986 Loretta Russell, 759 Kolln Street, spoke against allowing any kind of fortune telling in the City because some people take it seriously. She read from the Bible Scriptures speaking against this use. Robert Russell, 759 Kolln Street, felt that to allow an area in town for this use would be to sanction it. He did not feel that approval would be in the spirit of the Pleasanton community. The public hearing was closed. Discussion ensued concerning the proposed application and a motion was made by Commissioner Innes, seconded by Commissioner Hoyt that Case RZ-86-3, application of the Planning Commission for an amendment to the Ordinance Code to permit fortune telling in various commercial zoning districts be denied, the intent being to defer action until an actual use permit application is before the City. ROLL CALL VOTE AYES: Commissioners Hoyt, Innes, Lindsey, Wellman and Chairman Wilson NOES: None ABSENT: None ABSTAIN: None Resolution No. 2776 was entered and adopted denying Case RZ-86-3 as motioned. UP-86-7, Best Application of Kenneth Best for a conditional use permit for a recreational vehicle storage facility to be located on an approximately 19.2 acre site located on the south side of Boulder Street, approximately 275 feet east of the intersection of Quarry Lane and Boulder Street. Zoning for the property is I-G-40,000 (General Industrial) District. This matter was continued to 4/9/86. UP-86-10, Osicki Application of Sigi Osicki for a conditional use permit for a sandwich shop to be located within an existing catering establishment located at 7116-A Johnson Drive. Zoning for the property is I-G-40,000 (General Industrial) District. Mr. Swift presented the staff report recommending approval of this application. The public hearing was opened.
