Minutes <br />Planning Commission <br />October 22, 1986 <br />Commissioner Michelotti asked when the specific plan is done how <br />far the right-of-way would go? Mr. Swift indicated that it stops <br />at the Del Valle Parkway and doesn't include this property. <br />The public hearing was opened. <br />Joe Madden, 1544 Santa Rita Road, indicated that this application <br />is a result of a condition on Parcel Map 4759 requiring the <br />former Southern Pacific Railroad right-of-way be zoned consistent <br />with the other parcels. Mr. Madden indicated he would be happy <br />to answer any questions. <br />The public hearing was closed. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Michelotti, seconded by <br />Commissioner Wellman that the negative declaration prepared for <br />Case PUD-86-14 be recommended for approval inasmuch as approval <br />of this case would have an insignificant effect on the <br />environment. <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br />AYES: Commissioners Berger, Hoyt, Michelotti, Wellman and <br />Chairman Lindsey <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Commissioner Innes <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />Resolution No. 2848 was entered and adopted recommending approval <br />of the Negative Declaration prepared for Case PUD-86-14. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Michelotti, seconded by <br />Commissioner Hoyt to recommend approval of Case PUD-86-14 subject <br />to the conditions shown in the staff report. <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br />AYES: Commissioners Berger, Hoyt, Michelotti, Wellman and <br />Chairman Lindsey <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Commissioner Innes <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />Resolution No. 2849 was entered and adopted recommending approval <br />of Case PUD-86-14 as motioned. <br />GP-86-9, Marsh <br />Application of William Marsh to amend the Land Use Element <br />designation of the General Plan from ~~Low Density Residential~~ to <br />~~Commercial and Offices~~ for an approximately o.75 acre site <br />located at 5998 Sunol Boulevard. <br />Mr. Swift presented the staff report recommending approval of <br />this application. <br />The public hearing was opened. <br />- 4 - <br /> <br />
