CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 90-154B RESOLUTION DECLARING CERTAIN PARCELS OF CITY OWNED PROPERTY AS SURPLUS AND AUTHORIZING THE TR;tNSFER OF SAID PARCELS TO THE ADJACENT PROPERTY OWNERS WHEREAS, the City is designing a soundwall and sidewalk along the easterly side of Foothill Road; and WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton is the owner in fee of two small parcels of land, one at the terminus of Olive Court and the other at the terminus of Marigold Court; and WHEREAS, the City's construction of the Foothill Road soundwall will isolate these two parcels and render maintenance of those parcels by the City impractical; and WHEREAS, the descriptions of the parcels in question are described in Exhibits A, B and C attached to this resolution and incorporated herein by reference; and WHEREAS, those parcels are no longer needed by the City of Pleasanton and are not useable by anyone other than the adjacent property owners at 7885 Marigold Court, 7898 Marigold Court, and 7952 Olive Court, respectively; and WHEREAS, the property owners at those addresses (Stanko, Pagadvan, and Martin) have agreed to accept those parcels if offered by the City. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Those parcels of property, described in Exhibits A, B, and C attached to this resolution are hereby declared surplus property and shall be offered respectively, to Frank E. and Yvonne Stanko, Dominador C. and Mary C. Pagadvan, and Eric and Carol J. Martin, at no cost to the property owners. Section 2: The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute on behalf of the City of Pleasanton any and all documents necessary to transfer said properties to the adjacent property owners as provided herein. Section 3: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption.
