CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 90-149 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING FIXED AND UNIFORM <br />REFUSE COLLRCTION RATES FOR THE CITY OF <br />PLF. ASANTON <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City of Pleasanton (City) and Pleasanton Garbage <br />Service, Inc. (Contractor) have entered into an <br />Agreement for the exclusive collection, transportation <br />and disposal of dry garbage and refuse from the City of <br />Pleasanton; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />in accordance with Section 9.20.090 of the City of <br />Pleasanton Municipal Code, rates for refuse services <br />shall be set by a resolution approved by the City <br />Council of the City of Pleasanton; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the Contractor shall conduct all billing related to the <br />collection, transportation, recycling, and disposal of <br />said garbage and refuse in strict accordance with the <br />rates listed in this Resolution; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the Contractor currently operates a transfer station <br />located at Busch Road in the City of Pleasanton which is <br />available to the general public; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />Contractor, in conjunction with the City, is <br />establishing a recycling program which requires a rate <br />adjustment to support; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />in accordance with the exclusive Agreement, the City has <br />the authority to regulate the fees for the usage of the <br />transfer station. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: <br /> <br /> The rates for the collection, transport and disposal <br />of dry garbage and refuse from the city of Pleasanton <br />effective October 1, 1990 are as follows: <br /> <br /> <br />
