A motion was made by Commissioner Hoyt, seconded by Commissioner <br />Hovingh recommending approval of Case RZ-88-1i to amend Section <br />18.44.C~9c~ of the Municipal Code to allow "auto supply stores" as <br />a permitted use in the C-N tNeighborhood Commercials zoning <br />district. <br />ROLL CALL VOTE: <br />AYES: Commissioners Berger, Hovingh, Hoyt, Mahern, and <br />Chairman Michelotti <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />AEtSTAIN: Commissioner Tarver <br />Resolution No. PC-88-1:?1 was entered and adopted recommmending <br />approval of Case RZ-H8-11 as motioned. <br />UP=88_541_Stanley_fSartners <br />Application of Stanley Partners for a conditional use permit to <br />operate a supermarket on the site of a proposed shopping center <br />located on the north side of Stanley Boulevard between First <br />Street and Valley Avenue. Zoning for the property is PUD <br />tPlanned Unit Development? - Commercial and Offices District. <br />Application continued to November ~?, 1488. <br />MATTERS_FOR_COMMISSIOIU_S_REVIEW <br />SP_88=is_City_of_Pl~asanton <br />Application of the City of Pleasanton to adopt a Specific Plan <br />for the Downtown Pleasanton area including land use, <br />circulation, parking and design policies and improvements <br />encompassing an area generally bounded by Bernal Avenue, First <br />Street, Stanley Boulevard, Rose Avenue, and Pleasanton Avenue. <br />Chairman Michelotti stepped down because of a possible conflict <br />of interest; Commissioner Hoyt acted as Chairman; Commissioner <br />Tarver took Commissioner Hoyt's place. <br />Mr. Lee presented the staff report recommending approval of the <br />revised report. <br />Commissioner Mahern felt the report had been adequately covered <br />and explained. <br />Some discussion was held regarding the purpose of a possible Del <br />Valle extension. Mr. Lee explained the purpose would be mainly <br />to take off pressure from Main Street. <br />The public hearing was opened. <br />AZ Hronzini, 719 Main Street, represented the Downtown <br />flssociation.
