MINUTES <br />PLANNING COMMI5SION <br />Pleasanton, California <br />City Council Chambers <br />?t~D Old Bernal Avenue <br />Wednesday, January 13, 1988 <br />8: t~C1pm <br />BALL TO_ORDER <br />The Planning Commission meeting of January 1~, 1988 was called <br />to order at 9:~aDpm by Vine Chairman Sharrell Micheletti. <br />The Fledge of Allegiance to the Flag was recited. <br />RDLL_CALL <br />Commissioners Present: Joyce Berger, Brian Hoyt, Marcelline <br />Mahern, Ben Tarver, Vice Chairman Sharell <br />Micheletti <br />Commissioners Absent: Larry Lindsey <br />Staff Members Present: &rian W. Swift, Director of Planning and <br />Community Development; Jim Fialch, Police <br />Sergeant; Gary Leach, Assistant Director <br />of Public Works; and Terry Dirkenfeld, <br />Recording Secretary <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />The Minutes of the December 9, I95~ Planning Commission were <br />amended: Page 9, paragraph 3 - Commissioner Tarver stated he <br />would liF;e to "retain the e~cisting bridge." The Minutes were <br />appro~-ed as amended. <br />MEETING OPEN FOR ANY__tHEM~ER__DF THE AUDIENGE_TO_ADDRESS_THE_ <br />P~ANNINGG__COMMISSION__DN__ANY__ITEM__WHICH_IS_NOT_ALREADY_DN_THE_ <br />AGENDA <br />Stanley Rathbone, ~~5 Ray Street, e;~pressed concern that if <br />construction were done on Railroad Street that it would impact <br />traffic on Ray Street. He apposed the demolition of the winery <br />on 5t. John Street because it was an historic building. He <br />wondered why more old-timers names were not used on street signs <br />and said he would be happy to submit a list to the Planning <br />Commission for their consideration. <br />Vice Chairman Micheletti said the Planning Commission would be <br />happy to accept a list of names to be considered for street <br />names. <br />REVISIONS_AND OMISSIONS TO THE AGENDA <br />--------- ------------------------ <br />F'age 1 <br />
