16. Fultilling the above requirements is the sole responsibility of the homcbuycr. Failure to <br />fully satisfy the above Program requirements as determined by the City's Housing Division, may <br />result in a delay in funding or in loan denial. <br />17. [3orrower must submit a complete application to the City's I lousing Division at least four <br />weeks prior to their scheduled close ofescrow. Upon determination of eligibility fir the <br />Program, by the City's dousing Division, borrower shall receive a letter stating Program <br />Eligibility. This letter shall indicate the maximum amount of loan funds a buyer is eligible tor. <br />I~his letter determines loan eligibility only. Since funding is limited and is available on a trst <br />come first serve basis, a letter of eligibility is not a guarantee that funds will he available to the <br />borrower when requested. <br />18. I lomcbuyer must successfidly complete a City approved homebuyer training program <br />prior to the close of escrow. <br />19. Priority shall be given to persons who live and/or work in the City of Pleasanton <br />consistent with the City's adopted preference system for affordable housing projects. <br /> <br />
