PUBLIC HEARINGS AND OTHER MATTERS <br />B. Recommendation Regarding Proposed Affordable Housing Plan for the <br />Ponderosa/Lehman Project <br />Steven Bocian presented this item. He reported that staff is recommending that the <br />Commission approve the `dcal points' that would be used to form the core of a new <br />agreement with Ponderosa I Iomes for the Lehman/Solway development and an <br />amendment to the existing agreement with Ponderosa Homes executed for the Busch <br />property. <br />Mark Sweeney of the Gardens of Ironwood expressed his support for the staff <br />recommendation and rcqucsted the Amendment include language allowing three tive- <br />year extensions. <br />The Commission discussed various aspects of the arrangement and Vice Chairperson <br />Stark indicated that the agreement should be specitic in detailing the three five-year <br />options. <br />It was moved by Vice Chairperson Stark, seconded by Commissioner Casey, to <br />approve staff recommendation with the inclusion of three five-year options. Motion <br />carried unanimously. <br />
